The First Word–Picture Story – and a Whole Team Behind It

An Intake Tea: We witnessed something special: a social worker created her very first Word–Picture Story for a pair of siblings. The short version—just three to four panels—was enough to create meaning and a sense of safety. The most impressive part? Her colleagues gathered around her, offering support and encouragement—and the entire process took no more than nine minutes. A moment that shows what is possible when courage, method, and community come together.
