The First Word-Picture Story and a whole team behind it

At the Intake Unit, we witnessed something special: a social worker created her very first Word-and-Image Story for a pair of siblings. The short version just three or four panels was enough to create a sense of meaning and security.

The most impressive part? Her colleagues gathered around to offer support and encouragement and the entire process took no more than nine minutes. It was a moment that demonstrates what is possible when courage, methodology, and a sense of community come together.
