About Shilan

Dedicated to child & family welfare

My name is Shilan Khadiri, and I have a solid background in social work, with a particular focus on children and young people in vulnerable situations. After completing the Social Work programme at Örebro University (2010–2013), I furthered my training in Signs of Safety (SofS), as well as in working with children exposed to threats or violence in close relationships. My experience spans over a decade of practical work within social services, particularly in matters concerning child protection and LVU.

My experience and expertise in Signs of Safety mean I always work from a solutionfocused, collaborative methodology one where the child's network and the family's own resources are included as a central part of every investigation and intervention.
